Delete Your Data

Orderly — Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your Orderly account and all data associated with it at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, how to do it, and how to contact us if you need help.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently and irreversibly removes all of the following:

  • All orders you have ever logged (including status, payment, delivery dates, notes, and quantity)
  • All customer records (phone numbers, names, order history, and revenue totals)
  • Your user profile document (business name and account settings)
  • All data synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore under your account
  • Your Firebase Authentication credential (your login is permanently revoked)
  • All local data on the device you delete from (SQLite database and app preferences)

This action cannot be undone. Export your orders first if you want to keep a copy — go to Settings → Data → Export orders before proceeding.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Steps in the Orderly app

  1. 1Open the Orderly app on your Android device.
  2. 2Tap the settings icon (⚙) in the top-right corner of the home screen.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen.
  4. 4Tap Delete Account under the Danger Zone section.
  5. 5Read the confirmation dialog carefully, then tap Delete Account to confirm.
  6. 6A second confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Delete to proceed.
  7. 7A progress indicator will show while your data is being permanently deleted from Firebase.
  8. 8Once complete, you will be automatically signed out and returned to the sign-in screen.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app or your account, email us at [email protected] with the subject line Orderly — Data Deletion Request. Please include the email address associated with your Orderly account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

What is retained after deletion

After your account is deleted, we do not retain any of your personal data. Anonymous, aggregated, non-identifiable analytics events (e.g. app open counts) collected before deletion may remain in PostHog analytics but cannot be linked back to you.

Before you delete — export your data

Once your account is deleted your data cannot be recovered. If you want a copy of your orders before deletion:

  • Open the app → Settings → Data → Export orders
  • Choose CSV (spreadsheet), PDF report, or Print
  • Save or share the file before proceeding with deletion
