Orderly ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Orderly Android app and this website, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

In the app:

  • Order details you enter (customer phone numbers, item names, prices, notes)
  • Your Google account email address, used to verify your access and sync your data to your private Firebase account
  • Basic app usage data (screens visited, features used) to help us improve the app

On this website:

  • Anonymous page view and interaction data via PostHog analytics (no personally identifiable information)
  • Device type and browser information included automatically by your browser

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To verify your access to the app — access is granted per Google account after setup
  • To sync your orders and customers across your devices
  • To provide customer support when you contact us via WhatsApp or email
  • To understand how the app is used so we can fix bugs and add features

We do not sell your data. We do not share your order or customer data with any third party for advertising purposes.

3. Access Control

Access to Orderly is set up for your business during onboarding. Your team can use the app across multiple Android devices under the same business account. Your account details are stored securely and used solely to manage your app access.

4. Data Storage

Your order and customer data is stored locally on your device and synced to Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud servers. Firebase data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The app can be used across multiple Android devices in your business.

Website analytics data is processed by PostHog, which may be hosted in the EU or US. PostHog is configured to mask all input fields and does not record personally identifiable information.

5. Data Retention

Your data remains in your Firebase account for as long as you use the app. You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Data → Delete My Account inside the app. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: You can export all your orders as a CSV file at any time from the app.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app.
  • Correction: You can edit or delete any order or customer record directly in the app.

Orderly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
